🌿 Le Mas des Bécasses: a new chapter in Alziari's history
In the heart of Provence, a new chapter is beginning for Maison Nicolas Alziari. In 2023, we acquired a unique estate: Mas des Bécasses, 160 hectares of exceptional terroir. There, on these sun-drenched lands, we planted more than 100,000 olive trees—all in one place, forming one of the largest olive groves in France.
This ambition has only one goal: to enable Maison Alziari to produce 100% of its oils in-house, in France. To achieve this, we have recreated the ideal growing conditions on this estate: each variety of olive, carefully selected from the great European terroirs, has found its own plot, chosen according to the characteristics of its soil and climate. In this way, we preserve the organoleptic characteristics that are the hallmark of our iconic vintages.
Le Mas des Bécasses, formerly a wine estate, also has a fascinating history: it was owned by the famous Camargue horsewoman, who developed bull breeding and horse training there. Today, it has changed destiny to become a setting entirely dedicated to the olive tree, a symbol of peace and longevity.
But this place will not only be a land of production. Le Mas des Bécasses is also designed to be an exceptional estate, open to the art of living. Its luxury villas welcome our guests in search of authenticity and refinement, while its enchanting landscapes lend themselves to prestigious events: weddings, receptions, film shoots, and advertising campaigns.
More than just an estate, Mas des Bécasses is a promise: that of a legacy that continues and takes root, between tradition and modernity, in the service of Alziari excellence.
🌿 60 hectares on the French Riviera:
Maison Nicolas Alziari cultivates 60 hectares of land on the French Riviera between Cannes and Menton. It is on these lands that the petite niçoise and Cailletier olives grow, producing the famous 100% Niçoise olive oil.
